Pacific Stoneware Vase Hand Painted Signed B. Welsh Dated 1971
Out of stock
Bennett Welsh founded Pacific Stoneware in Oregon, and became well known for his slightly silly "people mugs" and other whimsical creations. But he was a respected ceramicist and teacher with more serious work under his belt, as well. In fact, he was the founder of the ceramics program at Pacific Northwest College of Art. This piece features the company's incised logo along with "B. Welsh" and a copyright day of 1971.
